If you have a large nail break or crack, fix it quickly before the next manicure by using only a teabag.
Follow the given steps:
- Clean the nails. If there is any nail polish or nail paint applied, remove it.
- Cut the tea bag to the size of the nail so that it covers the break or crack completely.
- Put a small amount of nail glue on the crack and cover the crack completely with it.
- Using a pair of tweezers, place the teabag carefully over the crack.
- Let it dry completely.
- Once dried, smooth out the outer nail surface using a nail buffer.
- Apply any nail paint or nail art you want!
Use Silk Wraps
This method is similar to the tea bag method and it can be done easily at home or salon.
- Clean your nails, if there is any nail polish or nail paint applied, remove it.
- Clean the broken nail using rubbing alcohol.
- Starting from the nail bed, lay the silk strip carefully over the surface of your nail.
- Using a brush, apply nail glue gently over the silk strip and cover the strip completely.
- Cover your nail with the nail powder that comes with the nail repair kit.
- Remove excess nail powder using a brush.
- Repeat the step 4 to 6.
- Cut off the excess silk wrap that hangs off from the nail.
- Use a filer to get the desired nail shape.
