What is DND DIVA?+

DIVA is DND's trend-led line, sold as gel and lacquer duos numbered from #001 and grouped into themed collections such as Coquette, Frosted Chai and Happy Trails. Each gel bottle has a lacquer bottle with the same number. This page lists the DIVA lacquer bottles on their own, for pedicures, polish changes and clients who want to take the colour home. Each bottle shows its number in the title.

Do DIVA lacquer shades match DIVA gel?+

Yes. DND makes each DIVA shade as a gel polish and a nail lacquer with the same number, so a gel manicure and a lacquer pedicure come out the same colour. Order the lacquer by the number on the gel bottle, such as 192 Lawn Green or 210 Sunkissed Coral, and check each listing for stock before you plan a set.

How do I apply DND lacquer?+

Apply a thin base coat, then one or two coats of the lacquer, and finish with a top coat for shine and wear. Let each coat dry for about 2 to 3 minutes, and keep the coats thin so they dry faster. With a base and top coat, a lacquer manicure typically lasts about 5 to 7 days. Cap the free edge on each coat.

Does DIVA lacquer need a lamp?+

No. Nail lacquer dries in the air, so it needs no LED or UV lamp. Only the gel half of a DIVA duo cures under a lamp, using a DIVA or DND base and a no-cleanse top gel. That is why many salons use DIVA gel on the hands and the matching lacquer on the toes in the same appointment. The lacquer is the bottle a client can buy to touch up at home.

How do I remove DIVA lacquer?+

Lacquer comes off with regular nail polish remover, either acetone or non-acetone, so it needs no soaking or filing. Press a saturated pad on the nail for a few seconds and wipe towards the tip. Moisturise the cuticles afterwards, especially if the client changes colours often.
