What is in an OPI Intelli-Gel combo?+

Each combo groups an OPI Intelli-Gel colour with the base and top coat named in its title, so you can buy the colour and its system in one listing. Some combos hold more than one colour, such as the S86 Bubble Bath and H22 Funny Bunny sets. Read the title of each listing for its exact contents before you order.

Is OPI Intelli-Gel HEMA-free?+

Yes. OPI describes Intelli-Gel as HEMA-free, TPO-free and vegan. HEMA-free does not rule out a reaction to other acrylates, so do a patch test with a client who has reacted to gel before. Read the label on each bottle you receive, because the label is the most current statement of the formula.

How do I apply Intelli-Gel?+

Shake the bottle for about 5 seconds before use. Prep the nail, apply a thin layer of base and cure, then two thin coats of colour, curing each, and finish with the top coat. Each layer cures in 30 seconds under the OPI Star Light lamp or 2 minutes under a UV lamp. Avoid heavy impact on the nails for the first day.

How long does Intelli-Gel wear?+

OPI rates Intelli-Gel for up to 3 weeks of wear with correct prep, thin coats and the full base, colour and top system. Full colour usually comes in two coats. Wear depends on the client's nails and daily use, so cap the free edge on every layer and send clients home with cuticle oil to keep the edges in good shape.

Why are so many combos out of stock?+

Stock is tracked per combo, and many of the combos on this page are sold out at the moment. Check each product page before you plan a colour into a service. If a combo you want is out, the single Intelli-Gel colour bottles and the OPI base and top coats are listed separately on DTK's OPI gel pages, so you can build the same system from single bottles.
