The Intelli-Gel shade page
This page lists OPI Intelli-Gel and nothing else: more than 200 single 0.5 oz bottles, each sold under its OPI shade code, plus the seasonal sets, colour combos and the three system coats that hold an Intelli-Gel service together. If you want the older GelColor bottles beside it, see OPI gel with the original GelColor too; this page stays on the newer system so you can build an Intelli-Gel wall without sorting through two formulas.
OPI launched Intelli-Gel in August 2024. It is a self-correcting gel with a rounded Intelli-Brush, and OPI describes the formula as HEMA-free, TPO-free and vegan. Every shade gives full colour in two thin coats and cures in 30 seconds under the OPI Star Light LED lamp or 2 minutes under UV. DTK is an authorized OPI dealer, and the full lineup by format sits on OPI's full range at DTK by format.
How to read an Intelli-Gel listing
Each single listing follows the same pattern: the shade code, the shade name, and a short colour note written for the listing, for example "S86 Bubble Bath, Sheer Rose-Pink" or "W52 Got the Blues for Red, Blue-Based Deep Red". The code is the part to write on your client card. The same code carries across OPI formats, so a client who loves a gel shade can usually find it again as a lacquer or in a trio; gel shades with a lacquer twin and trios that add dip and lacquer show which codes come in more than one format at DTK.
The colour notes are a guide, not a swatch. Screens shift colour, so for a bridal set or a regular client with a fixed shade, paint a test nail before the full service.
Shade finder by colour family
The groups below name only shades that were in stock when this page was written; stock moves daily, so the product grid is the final word.
Sheer whites and milky pinks
H22 Funny Bunny (soft sheer white), S86 Bubble Bath (sheer rose-pink) and L00 Alpine Snow (pure opaque white) are the three bottles that cover French and clean-nail work. S061 OPI'm a Bubble Bunny, from the Spring 2026 OPIcons release, is OPI's take on Bubble Bath and Funny Bunny combined in one bottle. L03 Kyoto Pearl adds a sheer cream pearl and SH1 Baby Take a Vow a soft pearl-pink.
Nudes and beiges
T65 Put It In Neutral, SH4 Bare My Soul, A15 Dulce de Leche, H72 Just Lanai-ing Around and A61 Taupe-less Beach cover the warm side; T69 Love Is In The Bare and S96 Sweet Heart sit closer to bare nail. E82 My Vampire is Buff leans mauve, and F038 Suzi Take a Vow from the Fall 2026 release reads peach-beige.
Pinks and corals
L19 No Turning Back From Pink Street is a bright pink creme, E44 Pink Flamenco a bright fuchsia, L64 Cajun Shrimp a coral pink-red and P002 Makeout-side a warm pink coral. For softer work, F82 Getting Nadi On My Honeymoon and H71 Suzi Shops & Island Hops stay light, and A46 Koala Bear-y moves toward berry.
Reds and berries
N25 Big Apple Red is the classic true red, L72 OPI Red the signature OPI red and W52 Got the Blues for Red a blue-based deep red. A70 Red Hot Rio and A16 Thrill of Brazil run brighter and warmer, H08 I'm Not Really a Waitress adds shimmer, and N57 Got Myself into a Jam-balaya and MI12 Complimentary Wine take you into burgundy and wine.
Purples, blues and greens
MI11 Leonardo's Model Color is a periwinkle purple shimmer and T76 I Am What I Amethyst a clear amethyst. On the cool side, D53 Suzi Is My Avatar, I53 Icelanded a Bottle of Opi (smoky teal) and MI04 Drama at La Scala (deep teal) cover blue and teal, while M83 Mexico City Move-mint and S078 Lime Of My Life bring light mint and lime green.
Browns, black and sparkle
LA04 Espresso Your Inner Self, N80 Cliffside Karaoke and F031 Crimp and Proper are the browns; MI08 Nails the Runway is a glossy black creme and D54 Trading Paint a deep black. For sparkle, E02 Halo There is a white shimmer, E01 Optical Nailusion a holographic multi-glitter, D51 Pixel Dust a silver pixel glitter and S63 Chicago Champagne Toast a champagne nude shimmer.
Seasonal codes and where they live
Seasonal shades use a collection prefix, which makes them easy to spot in the grid. Each release also has its own page with the full story.
| Code range | Release | In stock when written | Full page |
| HPT01 to HPT12 | OPI x M&M's holiday 2026 | HPT01, HPT03, HPT05, HPT06, HPT08, HPT11 | the 2026 M&M's holiday shades |
| F037 to F048 | OPI's Most Requested, Fall 2026 | F038, F039, F044, F045, F046 | OPI's F037 to F048 fall shades |
| S073 to S084 | Summer 2026 Trip To The Brite Side | S077, S078, S079 | the S073 to S084 summer shades |
| HPS01 to HPS12 | Holiday 2025 Good Enough to Treat | HPS01, HPS03, HPS07, HPS11 | the 2025 holiday HPS shades |
Seasonal codes belong to one release, so if a holiday or summer code is on your menu, check its stock on the listing before the season starts rather than assuming it will be there all year.
Sets, combos and the system coats
- Colour combos: one Intelli-Gel shade packed with Super Base and a Super Gloss top coat, listed on colour plus base and top combos. Most single-shade combos were out of stock when this page was written; the Bubble Bath, Funny Bunny and Bubble Bunny combo sets were available.
- Seasonal sets of 12, 18 or 24: one release in a single order, such as the Spring & Summer 2026 set of 24, the Pink Snowflake Dreams and Frosted Evergreen Mix sets of 18, and the Cozy Winter Neutrals, Gingerbread Warm Tones and Holiday Candlelight Glow sets of 12.
- 20-shade sets with a lamp: four different 20-shade line-ups, each with an OPI LED light, Super Base and a Super Gloss top.
- Build your own kits: pick 6 or 10 bottles yourself.
- System coats: Super Base, Super Gloss and Super Gloss No Wipe are listed on Super Base and both Super Gloss tops. Super Gloss gives the highest shine and is wiped after curing; the No Wipe version leaves no tacky layer and suits chrome and nail art.
Set and combo prices are shown on each listing; compare them with the single bottles you already stock before ordering.
The Intelli-Gel service, step by step
- Shake: shake each colour bottle for about five seconds before use.
- Prep: push back the cuticle, remove shine, cleanse, then apply one coat of Bond-Aid.
- Base: an ultra-thin layer of Super Base, cured.
- Colour: two thin coats, each cured; cap the free edge.
- Top: Super Gloss or Super Gloss No Wipe, cured. Wipe after Super Gloss as OPI directs.
- Finish: cuticle oil, and ask the client to avoid heavy impact on the first day.
Each layer takes 30 seconds under the Star Light LED or 2 minutes under UV. For the lamp itself, see lamps for the Intelli-Gel shade wall.
Matching Intelli-Gel to the client in your chair
- Clients asking about HEMA: Intelli-Gel is the OPI line labelled HEMA-free and TPO-free, so it is the OPI gel to offer first. Patch-test as usual.
- Short appointment slots: two thin coats give full colour and each layer cures in 30 seconds under the Star Light LED, which keeps the service tight.
- Chrome and nail art: finish with Super Gloss No Wipe so there is no tacky layer under the powder or the design.
- Gel on the hands, polish on the toes: choose a code that also comes as a lacquer, so both services match.
- New home studios: the 20-shade sets include an OPI LED light with Super Base and a Super Gloss top, so one order covers colour, coats and curing.
Building an Intelli-Gel shade wall
- Start with the base trio: Funny Bunny, Bubble Bath and Alpine Snow, plus Super Base and both Super Gloss tops.
- Add four nudes across warm and cool, so every client has a "my nails but better" option.
- Add three reds: one true red, one blue-based and one warm, then one burgundy for autumn and winter.
- Fill pinks and corals for spring and summer, and one teal and one purple for clients who want colour.
- Rotate the seasonal codes from the table above, and keep the core shades permanent.
HEMA-free, explained honestly
OPI states that Intelli-Gel is HEMA-free and TPO-free. That claim covers this line; it does not cover the original GelColor bottles, so read the label on any GelColor bottle. HEMA-free also does not rule out a reaction to other acrylates, so keep patch-testing clients with sensitive skin. To compare HEMA-free lines from other brands, see HEMA-free gel lines compared.
Removal and care
Break the seal of the top coat, then soak the nails in acetone, or use acetone wraps, until the gel softens, and lift it off gently without scraping the natural nail. Finish with cuticle oil. For a client who wants the same colour between gel services, OPI lacquer for take-home touch-ups carries many of the same codes.
