What this LDS duo line is
This page holds the LDS gel and lacquer duos numbered 001 to 180. Each single listing pairs a gel polish with a nail lacquer in the same shade number, so a client can wear the gel on her hands and the lacquer on her toes, or take the lacquer home for touch-ups. Alongside the singles you will find five Part listings, one for every block of 36 numbers.
LDS is phasing this line out. Stock that sells will not be replaced, so what you see in the grid is what remains. If a shade is a regular on your menu, order it while it is still available, and plan a replacement from the current LDS range for later seasons.
How to read a listing
| Listing | What you choose | Good for |
| LDS Gel Nail Polish Duo - ### | One shade number: gel polish plus matching lacquer | Reordering a single colour clients ask for |
| LDS Healthy Gel Part 1 to 5 | One number inside that 36-number range, or the full 36-colour option | Filling gaps in one section of the chart |
| LDS 3 in 1 - ### (separate listings) | The same number as dip powder, gel and lacquer | Salons that offer dip as well as gel |
The Part ranges run 001 to 036, 037 to 072, 073 to 108, 109 to 144 and 145 to 180. Not every number is still in stock inside each Part, so check the option list before you build an order around a full range. The full 36-colour option is priced as 36 single numbers, and at the moment most Parts show it as sold out.

Gel or lacquer: which bottle does what
The gel polish needs a lamp. It cures under LED or UV light and, applied over a base and sealed with a top coat, wears for up to two weeks. The lacquer air-dries with no lamp, which suits pedicures, quick colour changes and clients who prefer regular polish. The listings describe the lacquer as vegan, cruelty-free and 9-free.
The gel has a self-leveling consistency, so it settles into a smooth, even layer as you work, and it does not set until it goes under the lamp. That gives you time to clean up the cuticle line before each cure. Once cured and topped, it finishes with a high-gloss shine. The lacquer is the quicker option at the pedicure station or for a client who wants a colour for one event only.
The two bottles are made to match by number, but gel and lacquer formulas never look exactly alike. Expect a close match rather than an identical one, and swatch both side by side if a client wants her hands and toes to read as one colour.
How to apply the gel
- Prep: push back the cuticle, remove the shine from the nail plate and clean the surface.
- Base: apply a thin layer of LDS base gel and cure it for 60 seconds under LED or 2 minutes under UV.
- First colour coat: brush on a thin coat of the gel, cap the free edge and cure it the same way.
- Second colour coat: repeat with another thin coat for full colour, then cure.
- Top: seal with an LDS top coat and cure for the final time.
Thin coats cure evenly. A thick coat can stay soft underneath, which shortens wear, so build colour in two light passes rather than one heavy one.
Removal and storage
To take the gel off, soak the nails in acetone or wrap them with remover pads for about 10 to 15 minutes, then lift the softened gel gently. The lacquer comes off with a regular polish remover. Keep every bottle tightly closed and away from direct sunlight and heat, since light can thicken gel in the neck of the bottle.
Planning ahead while the line winds down
- Stock your most-rebooked numbers first. Order the shades your clients come back for before slower ones, because sold-out numbers will not come back.
- Use the 3 in 1 listings if you offer dip. Several numbers are also sold as a dip, gel and lacquer trio, so a dip client can stay in the same colour.
- Map replacements early. The wider LDS range, including the Color Craze gel line, gives you numbered shades to move clients to when a favourite runs out.
- Keep base, top and remover on hand. The duos rely on a base and top coat for full wear, so check those supplies when you reorder colour.
