What Good Enough to Treat is
Good Enough to Treat is OPI's holiday collection for the 2025 season. It is a run of 12 shades with dessert-shop names such as Nougat by Nature, Butter Me Up Toffee and Tempted to Lick-orice, coded HPS01 to HPS12 for the gel bottles and HRS01 to HRS12 for the matching lacquers. The same number always means the same colour, so a gel manicure and a lacquer pedicure in HPS07 and HRS07 come out alike.
This page keeps the 2025 holiday shades together and also carries OPI salon favourites that clients book in the same weeks: classic reds, a deep berry, bright whites and a few glitters. Use the filters beside the grid to narrow by product type or availability. The holiday codes sell through, so check each listing for stock before you plan a menu around one shade. DTK sells OPI as an authorized dealer.
The holiday shades you can buy now
Four of the twelve codes are on the shelf as Intelli-Gel bottles as we write, and a few also as a duo or a lacquer:
| Code | Shade | What the listing says | Formats on the page |
| HPS01 | OPI'm Frosted | Holiday 2025 Intelli-Gel shade | Intelli-Gel 0.5 oz |
| HPS03 | Tempted to Lick-orice | Holiday 2025 Intelli-Gel shade | Intelli-Gel, duo, lacquer (HRS03) |
| HPS07 | Nougat by Nature | Warm nougat nude | Intelli-Gel 0.5 oz |
| HPS11 | Havin' a Candy Ol' Time | Candy red with multi-glitter sparkle | Intelli-Gel, duo |
The other eight codes (HPS02, HPS04, HPS05, HPS06, HPS08, HPS09, HPS10 and HPS12) are still listed, but stock comes and goes. If a client asks for one by number, open its listing to see whether it is available that day.
Where these shades sit in the season
DTK's seasonal chart for OPI files most of this collection under winter: HPS01, HPS03, HPS04, HPS05, HPS06, HPS07, HPS10, HPS11 and HPS12 carry a winter tag, and HPS05, HPS06, HPS08, HPS09 and HPS12 also appear on the fall list. So the collection is a fit from the first cold weeks through the holiday party season.
- Nude and sweet neutrals: HPS07 Nougat by Nature is the quiet option for clients who want something seasonal without colour.
- Sparkle: HPS11 Havin' a Candy Ol' Time brings red glitter for party bookings.
- Something different: HPS01 and HPS03 round out the palette for clients who already own every red.
Three ways to buy a holiday shade
| Format | What you get | Best for |
| Intelli-Gel single | One 0.5 oz bottle of gel, cured under an LED or UV lamp | Gel manicures that need up to three weeks of wear |
| Nail Lacquer single | One 0.5 oz bottle of air-dry polish | Pedicures, quick changes and retail |
| Gel and lacquer duo | The Intelli-Gel bottle plus the matching lacquer, 0.5 oz each | A gel manicure with a matching lacquer for toes or touch-ups |
If you want the same colour in gel, lacquer and dip powder, OPI's 3 in 1 sets cover that for the core shades; see the trio pages linked below.
Applying Intelli-Gel holiday shades
- Shake the bottle for about five seconds; Intelli-Gel pigment is concentrated.
- Prep: push back the cuticle, buff lightly and cleanse. OPI's system uses one coat of Bond-Aid.
- Base: one ultra-thin layer of Intelli-Gel Super Base, cured for 30 seconds under a Star Light LED lamp or 2 minutes under UV.
- Colour: two thin coats of the holiday shade, curing each one. Two coats give full colour.
- Top: a Super Gloss top coat, cured, then cuticle oil. Ask the client to avoid heavy impact on the first day.
Intelli-Gel is HEMA-free, TPO-free and vegan, and wears up to three weeks with correct prep. HEMA-free does not rule out a reaction to other acrylates, so a patch test is still sensible for a client with a known sensitivity.
Using the lacquer shades
The HRS lacquers air-dry and need no lamp. Apply a base coat, two coats of colour and a top coat. OPI lacquer is fast-drying and lasts up to about a week, which suits pedicures and clients who change colour often over the holidays. Because the lacquer shares the gel's number, you can sell the HRS bottle as a take-home for a client who wore the gel version in the salon.
OPI favourites that sit beside the holiday edit
The grid also carries OPI shades that clients ask for every December. These are in stock as Intelli-Gel bottles as we write:
- Reds: N25 Big Apple Red (classic true red), H08 I'm Not Really a Waitress (shimmery burgundy red), A16 Thrill of Brazil (warm crimson), L72 OPI Red and W52 Got the Blues for Red (blue-based deep red).
- Berry and wine: B78 Miami Beet, a deep berry red.
- Whites and sheers: L00 Alpine Snow (pure opaque white), H22 Funny Bunny (soft sheer white) and S86 Bubble Bath (sheer rose-pink).
- Glitter: E01 Optical Nailusion (holographic multi-glitter) and B59 My Private Jet (black glitter sparkle).
- Cool winter tones: I53 Icelanded a Bottle of OPI (smoky teal blue) and I59 Less is Norse (icy grey-blue).
The page also lists Intelli-Gel combo sets that pair favourites such as S86 Bubble Bath and H22 Funny Bunny in one listing.
Planning a holiday menu with these shades
- Keep one red, one nude, one sparkle and one white on the station. From this page that could be N25 or H08, HPS07, HPS11 and L00.
- Pair gel hands with lacquer toes using the duo or the HRS bottle, so the client leaves with matching colour.
- Use sheers for layering. Funny Bunny or Bubble Bath under a glitter gives a lighter party look than full glitter.
- Check stock before you post a shade. Holiday codes are limited by what is on hand, so confirm on the listing before you promote one.
- Offer a gel and a no-lamp option. Some clients want a quick polish change between parties; the lacquer version of a holiday shade gives them that without booking a full gel service.
When you photograph a holiday set for social media, list the shade code with the name. Clients who come in asking for "the nougat one" or "the candy glitter" are easier to serve when the code is on the post, and it makes reordering the same bottle simple for you as well.
Storing gel and lacquer bottles
Keep Intelli-Gel bottles capped and away from the lamp and from sunny windows, since stray UV light can thicken gel in the bottle neck. Wipe the neck before closing so the cap does not stick. Shake each gel bottle for about five seconds before use, as OPI recommends for the concentrated Intelli-Gel pigment, and keep lacquer bottles closed tightly between clients.
Removal and aftercare
Intelli-Gel is a soak-off gel: break the shine of the top coat, soak with acetone wraps or a soak bowl, and lift the softened gel gently without scraping. Lacquer comes off with regular nail polish remover. For both, finish with cuticle oil; it keeps the nail and skin comfortable between holiday appointments.
This year's holiday and the rest of OPI
Good Enough to Treat was the 2025 holiday story. For the current season, OPI's holiday release at DTK is the OPI x M&M's Sweeten Your Mani collection. You can also browse OPI by format: every gel shade, every lacquer, matching gel and lacquer pairs, and the 3 in 1 trios.
