LAVIS UV Liquid Monomer 16oz — Mid-size EMA monomer with UV inhibitor — the everyday workhorse for salons running acrylic on multiple stations. DTK private label.
Spec: Pure EMA chemistry with UV inhibitor, 16oz active salon size (~160 services). MMA-free and salon-compliant.
Who It's For
- Salon owners: The sweet-spot bottle for active acrylic salons — large enough for daily station use, manageable enough for back-bar rotation.
- Home-studio pros: Step up from 8oz when your home studio fills the book — 160 services at lower per-service cost.
- DIY home users with a regular client book: When your home studio sees clients weekly, 16oz is the upgrade size from 8oz starter. Better per-service cost.
Highlights
- 100% EMA (Ethyl Methacrylate) — MMA-free and salon-compliant; MMA monomer is banned for salon use because it bonds too aggressively to the natural nail
- Self-leveling for smooth sculpting and minimal filing; UV inhibitor prevents yellowing
- 16oz hits the sweet spot for active salons — ~160 services, manageable bottle weight, predictable rotation
- DTK private label — retail pricing direct, same EMA + UV inhibitor chemistry as the 8oz/32oz/Gallon sizes
How to Use
- Pour a small amount into a clean dappen dish — keep main bottle sealed to prevent evaporation
- Dip acrylic brush into monomer, then into powder to form a bead at ~1.5:1 liquid-to-powder ratio
- Place bead on prepped nail and shape within 30–60 seconds — bead self-levels for smooth surface
- Allow bead to air-cure fully before filing and shaping
You'll Also Need
Pair with LAVIS Acrylic Powder (any color) + LAVIS Nail Prep system + LAVIS Acrylic Odor Out. Scale up to 32oz or Gallon when volume justifies.
