Six holiday shades that read as a menu on their own: the chocolate bronze, the candy blue, the pine green shimmer, the orange, the flat red and the gold. This is the brighter half of the OPI x M&M's GelColor line-up, packed with the swatch palette a client can hold while she picks.

• Three cremes, three shimmers. Crack Me Up, Melt In Your Mani and All Treat No Trick go down flat. Choco-Lotta Cheer, Merry Crunch-Mas and Feeling Mmmerry build their sparkle on the second coat.
• The swatch palette is included. A blank nail palette on a chain, so the client picks from the real colour instead of a screen.
• 30 second cure. OPI rates GelColor at 30 seconds under an LED lamp and up to three weeks of wear.

Specifications

How to apply

1. Prep. File, push back the cuticle, remove the shine and dehydrate the natural nail.
2. Base. Apply the OPI base coat thin and cure.
3. First coat. One thin coat of colour, cure 30 seconds under LED.
4. Second coat. A second coat, cure. The shimmers build their sparkle here, so do not thin this coat out.
5. Top. Finish with the OPI top coat, cure, and wipe the tacky layer if the top coat calls for it.

• Salons adding a holiday menu. Six strong colours cover a party season without touching the year-round wall.
• Techs who already own Kit #2. This is the half that completes the collection.
• Anyone who sells colour by the set. Bronze, green and gold photograph well, which is what fills the booking page.

Which one to take

Kit #1 is the bright half. If the clients asking for holiday colour want chocolate, white chocolate, silver or pink instead, take Intelli-Gel Kit #2. To cover both halves in one order, take the 12 colour Intelli-Gel set, and add the 12 colour Nail Lacquer set if the same shades should also sit on the retail shelf.
